Job Details
Java Social Media Developer would be responsible for the following jobs:
- Subscribe and follow up with popular Java developer communities on forums, discussion boards, Q&A sites and social media groups, communities etc. for all inquiries directly (or indirectly) related to Aspose/Banckle' APIs
- Help developer communities with solutions to their technical problems through code snippets, mini projects, articles, videos etc. using Aspose/Banckle APIs
- Check for most popular problems/issues/questions asked by customers on 3rd party developer communities and Aspose/Banckle forums to get ideas and then schedule to produce technical articles, videos, code snippets, mini projects about them
- Publish articles, videos, code snippets, mini projects on 3rd party sites
- Share and promote your published articles, code snippets, mini projects, videos etc. with developer communities by engaging them
- Keep track of statistics of your contribution to the developer communities to evaluate its ROI
- Report to the management about market's response to your efforts
Technical Requirements
- Must have commercial programming experience using Java SE/EE
- Must have experience with technologies like Html5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, JSF, Struts, Spring, Spring MVC, Vaadin, GWT, Grails, Hibernate, REST, JSON, Node js, Apache frameworks, Tomcat, JBoss, Glassfish etc.
- Strong experience in RDBMS databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Postgresql etc. It's also good to have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, CouchDB etc.
- Experience in working with IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Netbeans etc.
- Experience in working with Cloud environment and related services/technologies like Amazon EC2, S3, SimpleDB etc.
- Experience with SVN, Git and social coding sites like Github, Sourceforge, Bitbucket etc.
- Good understanding of Java design patterns
- Understanding of latest development and design trends
- Familiarity with SEO and use of social media channels
- Good to have experience in using Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence

- Ability to explain complex things in easy and natural written English
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on your own
- A willing team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
