Skill Requirements
- Work closely with legal, business and technical teams to achieve the right balance between business opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Must have experience in working with software vendors.
- Must have good understanding of licensing/subscriptions/agreements of software applications & services and their related terms/paperwork.
- Must have experience in preparing legal documents and agreements like End User License Agreements (EULA), Service Level Agreements, Contract Agreements etc.
- Must have experience in registering and handling international trademarks and patents.
- Must have experience in handling Intellectual Property related issues.
- Should have understanding that how common law is practiced in western world like USA, UK and Australia etc.
- US/UK based law degree and practical experience in US/UK would be preferred.
- Lawyers with computer science degree would be preferred.
General Requirements
- Ability to explain complex things in easy and natural written English.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on your own.
- A willing team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Should be self disciplined, pro-active, self-motivated and responsible.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
